| Description of Submission: "In this song I share my journey of reconciling my spiritual and religious beliefs with my sexuality. Water is a symbol of faith, in God, in another person, and in love. The music, lyrics, and arrangement are original to me, and I recorded and produced it myself, using Protools and other home recording equipment. The guitar and vocals are mine. However, music is collaborative by nature, and I brought in some friends to play on the track. Glockenspiel, additional vocals and production assistance by Tim Lowly; Percussion by Ryan Hammer" - Rebecca Why Karen and Melody Liked It: We loved the music and Rebecca's voice. We found ourselves humming the melody over and over. It was a really catchy tune. |
