Description of Submission:
"Crayola Marked Hands - A Flashback: This is a poem I wrote about an incident that happend to me relating to my
sexuality. The memory hit me hard and made me realize how proud I am of my journey to self acceptance.
Love Conquers All - This piece is inspired by all the positive changes in the LBGT community - especially relating to
marriage equality. The haiku represents my love of haikus as I have embarked on a 365 Day Haiku challenge. This
is the time of love." - Danielle

Why Karen and Melody Liked It:
It's funny to think that two innocent child's behavior could create such emotions from a parent. As well, we like the
simple and colorfulness of the drawing.
