Poem “We” By Joseph Maddela |
Desciption of Submission: “POEM ABOUT THE GAY
COMMUNITY” - Joseph
|
Equality. Out-spoken identity. Until now, we were unseen like
smokescreen faces. Until now, we were people unheard of
like absurd basket cases. But now, We celebrate by congregating and
initiating our advances. With fantastic ferocity, we advocate,
promote, and fight for chances. Like outcasts, we defend with
commanding voices. As a community, we come out making
all the loud noises. Competing for equal opportunities and more
equal choices. Speaking without fear, boldly without
shame. Even when invisible, we prove to be
invincible. Despite unfairness and inequality, We are challengers, contestants, and
rivals of adversity. By representing differences, Exemplifying instances, With independent thoughts, our
liberal ways, The philosophy is change, our one
common phrase. By embracing all personalities, We will not be subservient to mankind
or nationality, Or live like salts of the earth or
succumb to words of stupidity. We speak the monumental truths by
seizing it And also being it. Don’t discard he,
she, or those of trans-gendered anomalies. We are everywhere as the trendsetters
and the go-getters. As the future carvers and sculptors We will redefine integrities, Realign equalities, Rescind, reshape, and redesign identities. As activists, we establish our
platform as the excellent speakers. We recognize our potential as the
fearless leaders. We acknowledge our forthcomings as
the champion achievers. Accommodating and accepting, We are unmatched, unparalleled, and influential
believers. Evolved as sophisticated and diverse
individuals. We are masculinity. We are femininity. We are pride. We are dignity. We are the alternative pulse to
modern society. |
