Poem “What
Kind of Man” By Lacey Robinson |
Desciption of Submission: “Poem based on the thought process one goes through
to find a positive male gender model as a biological female.” - Lacey

What kind of MAN will I
be?? Sounds so trivial when … All these people are dying
overseas. To whine and complain… Is worse than
participating. So, what kind of MAN will
I be?? Recessed in my corners… Keeping to myself - while sayin’
nothing. To hide and refrain…I say
again… Is worse than
participating. But, what kind of PERSON
will I be?? If the unknowns betray
& I am NOT truly me? Others - they only seek to
destroy … And dilute my feelings… So, what kind of PERSON
would I be?? If I gave them what they need… Only what they think they
see? Just an agonizing
deception & Someone not worth knowing… For he is not a man
indeed. |
